The walkway can be designed in a manner that complements the colors and patterns in its surroundings, creating a unique style that enhances your home, and if done properly, greatly increase its curb value.
- Paver material – brick (clay), concrete, bluestone pavers, flagstone, marble, travertine, porcelain, cobblestone, rubber, and plastic.
- Type of paver – impervious (traditional), permeable, or slip resistant. Impervious pavers are your traditional pavers, permeable pavers prevent water accumulation, and slip resistant prevent people from slipping on the walkway while traveling on it.
- Thickness and base – traditional driveways have been constructed using pavers with a standard 4″-6” base.
